Warehouse Technician

Version 2 are trusted, independent suppliers of specialist lighting equipment rental and services to the Television, Broadcast and Event lighting industries.

We have an opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our small growing team in Ashampstead Common, Reading. This opportunity should be seen as a long-term role that will further develop as the company continues to grow.

Key Duties to include

– Testing and preparation of lighting equipment before dispatch to site

- Scanning out and returning of barcoded rental assets from detailed pick lists
– Loading and unloading of vehicles
– Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a safe and tidy operational condition

- Adhoc driving duties – 3.5 ton vehicle (desirable)

Skills / Personal Specification

The role will require someone physically fit and hardworking who is equally adapt working alone and as part of a team. Candidates should demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude to work and the ability to perform well under pressure in order to meet the demands of a busy, often unpredictable industry.

Version 2 is an ambitious company which is fully committed to the development of its people. Full ongoing training along with occasional on-site work will be provided to ensure continued personal development.

Hours / Remuneration

This a full time a position, 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5.30pm.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and are based on a forty hour week. DOE plus overtime available.
